We truly love all of our designers. With only 8 bridal designers being represented in the store, it is easier for us to become close with our designers and their team, and we would not want it any other way. This allows us to get to know them and their lines very well. When we heard that designer, Amy Kuschel’s 2013 collection was inspired by The Great Gatsby, we could not wait to see it. Once we saw it, we were inspired!

Amy Kuschel was one of the first bridal lines we choose to represent, and how could we resist. Her beautiful gowns are some of the most flattering styles on so many different body types. I don’t know what her secret is, but it’s true! Her silhouettes are all very soft and feminine. She knows how to accentuate the right parts, in the right places. She does this without being overly sexy or inappropriate, but instead elegant and sophisticated.
Every detail is thought out, from the placement of her appliques and beading, to the fabrics she uses for each gown. All to create this delicate balance between elegance and simplicity, which is what we (and a lot of our brides) love most about her. Even better, each piece is made by hand in her San Francisco design studio using luxurious fabrications, couture techniques, and quality workmanship.
It’s been great getting to know her and her team through the years and to be with them as they grow. Recently Amy and her team were chosen as the Editors’ Pick from Brides.com for her 2013 collection, and were recognized by The Knot and Wedding Wire for their “Best of Weddings 2013″
Come see and get inspired by some of our favorite Amy Kuschel gowns at our Glitz, Glamour, and Gimlets event, April 25th. There we will be showcasing Amy and her beautiful gowns that inspired us to throw this party!
